Maja rescues once more 10 dogs and cats
from the animal-killing-center

dogs (water dogs, Galgo) and 7 cats, under it 4 babies, Maja
rescued once more from the cruel animal-killing-center close
Malaga.
The small kitten "Dino" was only 3 weeks old and had
no more mum.
Now it lives with Maja and was adopted affectionately by her
cat Hanni.
If the animals there nobody gets from the anima-killing-center,
they become
ruthlessly killed after 10 days.
Already for many years Maja fights for the abolition of these
horrific "Perreras".   |

Maja rescues small French bulldog of
the street
 Maja
found dumped on the street small dog "Emma" close
to Marbella.
It was presumably abused to the breeding and now had at the
age of approx. 8 years "retired". Brutally one
threw her on the street. Maja took the little one
affectionately on, get her sterilized and now hopes, that "Emma"
finds a new

  In
cooperation with the ETN and the Triple A animal home in Marbella
hundreds of street animals became sterilized in Marbella during
2 weeks free of charge.
Maja had initiated the action. Numerous people took the offer

effective and most human way for the reduction of street animals.

furniture line
 
Maja presented her wonderful children´s furniture collection
in the biggest furniture house of Germany. On two days Princess
Maja did fairy tale reading to the numerous appeared children,

parents that liked her furniture´s a lot.

Princess Maja together with the Company Schardt presented on
the world-biggest toy fair her new doll furniture collection.
There is the existing child- furniture collection "be a
princess" now also as 1:1 miniatures-doll furnitures. These
are also made of wood and made to play with baby dolls and soft
toys. Now the dolls of the children can "live" in
exactly to the same princess furnitures, how the children live
themselves.
It is the only childrens furniture collection in the market
that exists also in a 1:1 mini-copy as dolls furniture. Accordingly
big was the interest at the exhibition stand and the resonance
on the cuite "princess's dolls furniture" was gigantic!

Disney “princess's day”
in Munich
Like every year Disney organised fulminating „princess
day” for 300 children, with dancing, greasepaints, screening
etc. The new Disney
Film „Kiss the frog“was presented. Maja came in
an authentic style with carriage and pink dress driven up and
read fairy tales for the children seated on a throne. With pleasure
Princess Maja spent the whole day with the children, for questions,
games, autographs, photos and more. Pop Star Lucie of "No
Angels" presented the event.

“Stargebot”- Charity-gala
in Bonn
 
At the just new open design hotel "Kameha" in Bonn
the Stargebot- Charity Gala took place. Maja collected donations
for the animal shelter home „Die letzte Zuflucht e.v.”
which is located in the village Kunersdorf near Berlin.
More than 90 put out, pushed away and ill-treated horses, sheep,
dogs, cats, parrots and pigs are maintained there, affectionately
by Burkhart Stimmig.
Maja could collect 1,000 € of donation money, as well as
gifts in kind to the value of 3,500€.

a big press conference Maja and the ETN informed the press,
that the mayor of Brasov has promised to stop the dog massacre.
Maja encouraged the press further to report about this cruel
maltreatment of dogs and to remind the mayor to his promises

Maja quickly printed posters of the ill-treated dogs and T-shirts
for the press conference with the label „God's will?“,
because the Romanians are very religious and Maja hoped to make
the dog-killing more clear to them with this way.

Maja saves again street dog in Spain
 Once
more Maja has saved a young Podengo dog (Spanish hunting dog)
(1.5 years) from the street and has given it a new home in her
own house. "Bambi" had completely lost weight; with
more than 40 ticks littered she also had Borreliose and was
ill-treated. Maja found her completely weakened on the street.
Now it is maintained affectionately healthy. With the investigation
turned out that Bambi expects shortly babies. |

Princesses Maja visits orphan's children
in Thailand
 Already
for many years Maja supports orphan´s in Thailand whom
she visited now once more in the north of Thailand. Of course
the Princess also took her goddaughter "Maja" (3),
finally, again in the arms.  Moreover,
Maja visited the LTU-event in Chiang May at invitation of Managing
Director Raymond Honings where she also spoke with the German
Honorable Consul, Hagen Dirksen and Prince McDang of her charity
engagement. Maja informed herself about the situation on the
border to Burma, in Laos and in the poor villages of the “Karen”
in the Hilltribes. |

Puppies for Princess Maja
 The
Princess´s dog-lady "Josy" and her second dog
"Felipe", whom she saved from an animal-killing-home
in Spain, have become parents of five charming puppies.
Three sweet girls and two boys saw the light of the world shortly
before Christmas. Princess Maja was present as a “midwife”
in the birth and saved the life of the first baby dog when this
would have suffocated almost in the amniotic fluid. No question
that the sweet puppies conquered the heart of the Princess in
the storm! |

Princess visits Himmelpfort
 Suitably
to Santa Claus Maja visited at invitation of the mayor the city
“Himmelpfort” and surprised the children in the
Kindergarden there. Together they all went to the only official
“Santa Claus-post-office” where Maja met the Santa
Claus personally. The Princess also visited the "angels"
who answer approx. 290,000 desirable slip of paper letters to
the Santa Claus from 80 countries of the world every year.

Fairy tale reading in the Kindergarden
“Riemenschneiderweg”, Berlin
 Maja
read before approx. 90 children of the integrative Kindergarden,
suitably to Santa Claus, fairy tails. The little ones were excited
very much and had been glad for a long time about the visit
of the Princess. The visit of Princess Maja occurred through
the initiative „the good action“. 
Princess Maja had accepted immediately and had fulfilled this
heart's desire of the children with pleasure. In the modern
Kindergarden there are also rabbits to the play for the children.
This pleased Princess Maja whom also is patronage of the "animal
board" is in Germany, particularly.

Maja is the patronage of the “Asthma
Centre” in Berchtesgaden
 In
the marvelous scenery of 5 stars Intercontinental Resort Berchtesgaden
a gala took place to the benefit of the “Asthma CJD Centre”.
The equipment is unique in Germany and treats up to 175 children
comprehensively and with big success. To that the own circus
of the “Asthma Centre” belongs, which formed the
gala evening.
Princess Maja could collect donations at the auction, with support

the „animal board Germany inc.“ (Tiertafel e.V.)
The animal board Germany inc. supports income-weak domestic
animal holders who cannot afford an appropriate to the species
position of her darlings any more.
The inc. stands to destitute animal holders with feed donations
and consultation achievements, as well as veterinary consultation
free of charge vigorously aside. All employees of the association
work exclusively in an honorary capacity. Princess Maja who
engaged herself for many years for the protection of animals,
agreed with the support of the project immediately.” I
am very concerned about that animals can also remain in economically
difficult times of your owners, there where they are loved and
must be maintained and not be delivered in animal homes.“

(social money) must still deliver their beloved pets in her
grievous situation, particularly then if children are in the
family. How a mother should explain to her child that she not

At the „German Creative Day in 2007“ in Leipzig
Princess Maja was also godmother of a world record attempt for
the Guinness book of the records. Together with 20 children
the Princess should form the biggest Christmas ball of the world
(4.75 m of diameter) at only 20 minutes. Keenly the children
and the Princess painted what the paintbrushes gave and after

2007 in Leipzig
 As
the patroness Princess Maja opened he „German Creatively
Day in 2007“ in Leipzig. Under the motto „hobby,
play and fun“the whole creative branch of Germany presents
itself with her novelties. Creativity is also in Maja´s
lives an important component. Already since her childhood the
Princess paints and forms with pleasure. In her charity work
with ill and handicapped children creativity also plays an important
role by therapies. The Princess exerts herself for the fact
that all creative perception and expression forms are stronger
considered in the child educational theory because they are
enormously important for children to express themselves, feelings,
to process experienced and dreams. Moreover, the Princess accepted
a donation more than 10,000 € for the association „Creatively
helps“ which supports ill children.

Maja rescues dog "Snoopy"
from Spanish animal home
 The
small fuzzy dog-mix (5) was put out in summer in Spain. Now
after 5 months at the animal home Maja took care of him and
provided him to affectionate animal parents in Germany. Maja
is shocked over and over again how badly one can treat the animals
and what forces people to put out her animals, virtually members
of the family, in such a cold-blooded manner.Now Snoopy leads
a happy life again. |

event in Hamburg. She informed about her charity projects and
could also take a donation for her project „Schattenkinder
e.V.“. The critically ill children suffer from the rare
“Hallermann Streiff-syndrome” will be supported
with. In an emotional speech to the guests who mostly come from
the finance branch said the princess: „You are experts
for yields. If you donate your money today to these children,
than this is the best investment, because here the yield is

from animal killing station in Marbella

was scarce! Only approx. 30 min before the sweet fuzzy hybrid
"Cari" should be killed, it could be saved from the
animal-killing-house in Marbella.
Maja maintained the ill-treated, small and very shy dog lady.
It is
incomprehensibly how one can handle with animals like that.
Princess Maja who has a heart for the animals, found new affectionate
home with garden near Berlin for "Cari" .  There
“Cari” can recover from her bad experiences and
lead a happy dog life. For Maja it is always hard to be separated
from the grown fond animals again. She would love to keep them
all. |

castle Charlottenburg/Berlin
 Already
for the second time might celebrate Princess Maja as an ambassadress
of Disney on this day with more than 1500 children one day like
in the fairy tale. Castle Charlottenburg offered a real dream
scenery for the completely sold off event in imperial weather.
Everything was offered by dance to child greasepaints and many
Disney's figures for the small princes and princesses. Princess
Maja answered many "princess's questions" and presented
new Disney to film „Cinderella of part 3“.  It
was also done of charity and thus Princess Maja could accept
a donation check of Disney of 10,000 € for the children
hospice "Sonnenhof" in Berlin-Pankow.

The Princess rescues small cat "Nino"
from the street in Spain
 The
small black cat, 4 weeks old, shouted with hunger when Maja
found him in Marbella on the street. Because the little cat
was put out on the street the Princess took the small cat immediately
and provided him, after a doctor's visit and some days for care,
in new affectionate home. As is known the Spaniards do not handle
with animals, unfortunately, very well, so that it comes always
again to such foundlings. Especially black cats virtually have
to be taken up no chance in Spain, because the Spaniards believe
by superstition that black cats are devils. |

Elisabeth Princess of Bismarck has quite special domestic animals:
butterflies. Approx. 500 wonderful copies flutter in her butterfly's
garden in the castle Friedrichsruh near Hamburg. The princess
is fascinated by the animals that carry out a metamorphosis
as only ones of the world for many years and visits daily her
darlings. With a little banana mash one can lure the butterflies
even on the hand. In any case, from Maja's coloured T-shirt
they did not want to fly away at all.

visited Las Vegas, marvelled at the city, with its renowned
shows, and colorful lighting.
Maja, enjoyed her stay at the XXXL MGM Hotel, but perhaps what
she enjoyed the most was a helicopter flight over the Hoover-Dam
and over the Grand Canyon. Maja, landed much to her delight
in the Grand Canyon, and picnicked at the Colorado river. A
terrific experience. |

travelled to Los Angeles for the shooting of her Sat. 1 "Blitz"
column, "V.I. Pets."
This segment was shot with Hollywood star Frank Stallone, along
with his horses, one of which is named "Maja".The
shoot took place on his ranch near L.A.
 As
well Maja met the successful and world renowned designer, Christian
Audigier. Audigier works under the "Ed Hardy" label,
and Maja met with him, in the privacy of his home, with his
children, and of course his dogs.
Also Maja visited with Uschi Obermeier, Mick Jagger’s
ex. who lives in the hills of Topanga near L.A. Uschi is a model
and jewellery designer, and another with a big heart for animals,
such as her two dogs, lizards, owls, and rattle snakes.

family for his sister "Lilly". |

Cat Charity Dinner
 Rafaella,
the "catwoman" , arranged a festive charity dinner
at the Thai Palace in Marbella, for the benefit of her ongoing
cat assistance program.
Maja is a good friend of Rafaella, and much admires Rafaella
for her good works and commitment for the street cats in Spain.
For over twenty years now, Rafaella has saved and fed over three
hundred cats in and around Marbella.
Rafaella has seen to cats getting required medication, and fights
on with all her strength for their existence and rights.
Maja, of course being a lover and aficionado of cats, herself
saved her own kitty Pauli from certain death, and has helped
in the placement of many poor cats to caring masters and mistresses. |

Maja places dog from Triple A-animal
home Marbella.
 Also,
for little six week old "Lilly", a charming Potenco-
mix female, Maja found her a new home in Hamburg.
Lilly came from Princess Xandra von Hehenlohe's Triple A animal
shelter in Marbella. "Lilly" along with her 5 siblings
had previously been found deserted in a box in the garbage.As
chance would have it, these puppies were found before they ended
up going live into a shredder when the garbage disposal was
making its' rounds. Having bonded strongly with "Lilly"
Maja found it difficult to give up "Lilly" but was
so happy to see "Lilly" go to a home where she would
be loved and cared for,and live a happy dog life. |

Maja saved two small 8 week old tomcats from the animal killing
pound in Marbella. Maja found these two kittens a new master
and mistress in Bad Homburg.The snow white "tom" with
blue eyes, and the completely black brother, won over Maja's
heart, and she found relief, when the two brothers were adopted
and are now alive and well, and healthy. |

Maja saves street dog in Spain.
The 2 year old Labrador Retriever, Vimo, had already been in
a number of animal shelters in Spain, and eventually ended up
in a killing pound where his days were numbered. Maja place
Vimo into a new home with caring owners in Brandenburg Germany.
Vimo is in a household with a garden,and having finally a happy
dog life. All the best, Vimo. |

Dolphin therapy "Schattenkinder
e.V." in Benidorm.
 The
children of "Schattenkinder e.V." (shadow children),
who suffer from the rare genetic defect "Hallermann-Streiff",
could travel again to the dolphin therapy in the "Aquapark
Mundomar".Branko Weitzman, is Europe's only dolphin therapist,
and for years now has cared for the children, doing such fine
work. Maja supports the fatally ill children, and has done so
for a number of years. Maja informed the children Sphresa, Rania,
and other kids about the course of therapy they would receive.

Triple A Gala Marbella of Xandra Princess
von Hohenlohe.
 Twenty
years ago Princess Xandra von Hohenlohe founded the animal home
in Marbella, and presently there are about 380 dogs and cats
housed in the facility awaiting a new homes.
At a charity gala attended annually by about 500 international
gusts, held privately at her beautiful property, styled after
a Portuguese monastary, the Princess receives donations for
her animal shelter. Maja, supports this charity and regularly
places animals into new homes, with her friends and acquaintances.

enjoyed being a guest at the charity event this evening, and
also attending were Gunilla countess von Bismarck,Luis Ortiz,
baron and baroness Leve van Aduard, Rudi count von Schonburg-Glauchau,

for "foundation childhood years".
 In
the noble like atmosphere of the restaurant "Die Insel"
(the island) Maja performed most charmingly before the over
300 invited guests.

who sponsors the "foundation childhood years". The
foundation promotes numerous education projects for kids, and

 Maja
pays a visit to the beautiful city of Vienna and attended the
adjoining ATP tennis tournament in Pötschach on the Wörthersee.
After 10 years the famous castle on the lake was re-opened as

After intense training, in positive conversing during job interviews,
advice on paralanguage, formulating goals, ideas, and assignments,
three persons seeking employment, namely: Madeleine Fiedel,
Regina Döhring, and Frank Gross, where also in need of
suitable hair-styling, and a professional photo portfolios,
consistent to their intended occupations.
Maja took these individuals to pro-stylist, Benni Durrer, who
gave each aspirant a completely new look. It had been years
since Madelaine and Regina had been to a hairdresser, and they
both enjoyed having this done.
Following the new hair styling, so befitting to all, Maja accompanied
them to see the pro-photographer Fabian Maerz,"Focolocco".
He took photos of the three applicants, none of whom had ever
had this experience before.
Fabio gave each applicant pointers on suitable poses, during
their photo-shoots.
Now, all three aspirants are well prepared, and "job coach"
Maja has her fingers crossed for all three, regarding their

Bridge" Charity

Rheinfels Castle, artist Esaah Sallaib, is holding an auction
comprising of about 150 paintings on the subject "Sun and
Moon"'.
For this auction she has "converted" other benefactors
along with Maja, to paint on the same subject. Other benefactors
include Peter Maffay, and Udo Lindenberg. The proceeds from
the sales of the pictures go to the benefit of the Don Bosco
Youth Services Centre, at Helenenberg, where children displaying
behavioural problems, get a chance for rehabilitation.
Naturally, Maja has painted her picture on the subject of "Sun
and Moon" in her own special interpretive style. |

Domingo conducts the Youth orchestra of the Americas and Europa
Chor Academie, performing G.Verdi's "Messa da Requiem".
This orchestra is one of the tops worldwide, with an ensemble
that without doubt, unites the most beautiful young European
voices, including the following four, world class soloists:
Cristina Gallardo-Domâs (soprano), Fredrika Brillembourg
(mezzo soprano), Marco Berti (tenor), Ildar Abdrazákov
(bass). The Requiem Mass is transformed into a "Hymn to
Life".
The concert is available on March 16th.2007, both as a CD and
DVD.
Princess Maja, who moderated the concert, also shows the exciting,
behind the scenes,"making of" this concert.
In addition the viewers get rare insights into the work of the

8 years ago the family of the restorer moved from Aschaffen
to Dieskau, acquired the absolutely ailing castle, after nobody
took care on site of the building. As an expert and art lover
Thymo of Rauchhaupt recognized the historical and architectural
value of the castle. Thus, by expl., a fresco cover is a highlight
of the castle and unique in completely Saxony-Anhalt. Unfortunately,
it is also destroyed and the heads of the precious figures were
still destroyed after the wall has come down in Germany. Also
the mother of composer Händel was christened in the chapel
of the castle Dieskau. It is the more honourably that the family
of Rauchhaupt has devoted itself to the reconstruction of this
cultural asset. There is an excellent restaurant which invites

of her heart. Because of the accumulated donations, the children
of the “Shadow Child inc.” (Schattenkinder e.V.),
who suffer from a rare genetic defect, could travel with her
families to the dolphin's therapy in the Aquapark "Mundomar"
in Benidorm. There the children received important therapeutic
impulses from therapist Branko Weitzmann and the dolphins. For
the children and their families this is an important and unique
experience, because for many it was the first time that they
went off for vacation together and have traveled by plane. The
children have done of big progress in the therapy and the parents
were overpowered of this success. Some parents said that they
never have seen her children so happy. It is noteworthy also
with which love and devotion the parents look around these children.

German Branko Weitzmann. Maja accompanied the children and was
glad with the parents about the success and progress of the
children.
For many families it was the first time that they went together
for vacation and an important therapy component. Princess Maja
was also glad that a therapy dolphin was called just "Maja". |

ice with conviction and theatrical talent. Maja spent herself
as a “wedding planer” which should organize a big
wedding for a “Scottish high-nobility couple” in
the hometown of the “Randfichten”, Johanngeorgenstadt.
She also should persuade the “Randfichten” to a
star guest appearance at the wedding ceremony where they should
perform their hit “Holzmichel”.
Maja hands to the “Randfichten” reverentially expensive
old Scotch-Wiskey and snuff and on top invited them to the grouse
hunt in the name of the Scottish aristocrats … .Certainly

land Benin Djimon Hounsou moved to Paris with his family at
the age of 13 years. He spent some years in the streets of the
Seine-metropolis and was discovered by the fashion designer
Thierry Mugler as a model at the age of 22. Also the world-famous
star photographer Herb Ritts discovered Djimon Hounsou as a
photo motive. Later the black giant did a career in Hollywood
and experienced after some music videos of Paula Abdul the breakthrough
with the Spielberg's production "Amistad". In the
meanwhile more than one dozen internationally of approved productions
have gathered. Beside roles in "Lara Croft", "Star
Gate", "Amistade" and " ´Fatal Desire"
was the drama "In America" his present career climax,
for it he received the Oscar nomination in 2004. He just did
a movie with Leonardo Di Caprio, “Bloddy Diamond”.

Disney on castle Ludwigsburg

Maja was star guest during the princess's day of Walt Disney
on the dreamlike castle Ludwigsburg. For 2,000 children a dream
come true there and celebrated the whole day in prince and princesses
costumes in imperial weather, princess`s dance and music. Princess
Maja read for the small princesses fairy tales and answered
many questions to the "princess's life".  For
many children it was a great experience to meet a real princess
and also Princess Maja was thrilled by many small, pretty "promising
princesses". Quite special thanks go to Walt Disney who
also donated a cheque more than 10,000 € to Princess Maja
to her “Shadow Children inc.” (Schattenkinder e.V.),

Berliner by birth Luigi Colani puts since decades new graduations
in the design. His computers are world-famous with circular
keyboards, his aerodynamically formed motorcycles and cars,
cups appropriate for hand, sunglasses and more. There is nearly
no utensil which the bio-designer has not formed anew and has
not designed.
His futuristic design provided worldwide for sensation and is
especially in Asia highly estimated. Thus it does not surprise
that the 78-year-old, exceedingly agile genius, till this day
a professorship maintains among other things at the university
in Japan. Even the NASA used his visions and his talent for
her astronautics and occupies Luigi Colani for 20 years among
other things as a chief designer. With talking before politicians
on G 8 summits or before leading economic bosses he takes no
sheet before the mouth and criticizes openly lacking courage
to the innovation and inhibited economic policy. For his direct
kind he is also criticized, however, this makes no difference
to the genius completely. Maja visited the designer, who is
also a passionate diver, privately at home, observed him at
the work and got unbelievable objects of the creative to see.

Mr. von Ribbeck on Ribbeck
“Mr.von Ribbeck
on Ribbeck in the Havel's land a pear tree in his garden stood."
Thus are the lines of the probably best known poem of Theodor
Fontane. There still is “Mr.von Ribbeck on Ribbeck”
and the famous pear tree also. Maja visited exclusively Friedrich
Earl of Ribbeck and his wife Ute. In 1990 both moved back home
to the native country to Ribbeck and after long fight with the
federal administration of property, they were able to buy back
parts of her former possession and to redevelop them.
They did not only put positive impulses for the small village
Ribbeck with this, but also have continued a 750-year-old family
tradition of the Family of Ribbecks. Since so long the family
was in Ribbeck resident until the grandfather captain Hans von
Ribbeck, as a member of the resistance against the Nazis (Zithen
hussar) in 1944 was arrested and was spent in the concentration
camp Sachsenhausen where he was murdered. The expulsion of the
family followed by SMAD order, the expropriation and the escape
about the “Air bridge”. Today the family with son
and grandchildren is again back in Ribbeck in the castle and
from the famous pears today there is an exclusive pear brandy
and pear vinegar which let the heart of every gourmet beat faster.

Countess of Bismarck, Ira Fürstenberg, Antonia Banderas
and Melanie Griffith and more bustle around. The successful
hotel has been built up by Count Rudi of Schönburg-Glauchau
and his cousin Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe. Maja visits "Conte
Rudi ", how he is called in Spain, exclusively in the Marbella

old shot injury with a bullet which is still in the back of

Pussy cat "Pauli" is celebrating
its first birthday!
 Maja's
foundling cat "Pauli" is getting one year old. The
princess has rescued the tiny kitten one year ago at the age
of only three weeks on the street in Spain. The small one was
completely starved and would not have survived, according to
the veterinarian, only one other day. With a lot of love and
good care Maja rescued the life of the very sweet black cat.
Today it is in brilliantly condition and it is Maja's big darling.
To the first birthday there was a cat's party for Pauli and
of course a lot of presents. |

people have unusual hobbies! And thus it does not surprise that
Elisabeth Princess of Bismarck maintains own butterfly's garden
in her castle Friedrichsruh near Hamburg. With a lot of work
and love the creative princess there during the last 20 years
has created a paradise with marvelous plants for the lovely
butterflies. From African butterflies in turquoise-blue with
20 cm of span up to seldom butterfly's dolls which look almost
like pieces of jewellery, one can experience the miracle of
the only animal of the world that develops in five phases of
the metamorphosis. Her many trips to Tibet and meetings with
the Dalai Lama have princess Elisabeth inspired to many self-painted
pictures and a specially built "singing garden". The
famous ancestor Otto Count of Bismarck would be surely proud
of this "garden of the butterflies", because also
he estimated the nature and butterflies very much. What her
family with husband Ferdinand Prince of Bismarck and the children

Princess Maja rescues put out dog in
Spain
 At
a highly frequented road up in the mountains of Marbella Maja
found a put out dog that was bounded beside the street. Immediately
she took the completely neglected animal in her care. After
a look in the sad eyes of the black, fuzzy mongrel it became
clear for Maja that the tiny foundling would not end up at a
Spanish animal home but would take a bath at her at home. The
princess called the little one "Pedro". He was completely
intimidated and starved. Also cat "Pauli", likewise
a foundling and little dog "Josy" closed the four-legged
friend immediately in the heart and divided with pleasure feed
and toys with him. 
The next morning the Princess immediately went to the veterinarian
who exactly examined Pedro and issued to him all necessary vaccinations
as well as a passport. Eases that Pedro had carried off no bigger
wounds, now the princess looks affectionately after Pedro, because
love and stroke Pedro needs at most.

defect

a long time ago Maja embosomed the children, which are suffered
from the Hallermann-Streiff-Syndrome and are incurably ill.
So the Princess has visited Sphresa (6), her parents and her
other two brothers and sisters, those are handicapped and adopted
likewise, at home. Mrs. Riegmann established the association
“Schattenkinder e. V.” five years ago and is taking
care about the children and families self-sacrificing.
She is fighting with authorities and is collecting donations.
Rania (11) was present too and was glad about the visit of the
Princess.  What
the children, in addition, their parents and the association
of “Schattenkinder e. V” are carrying out, has to
earn our highest acknowledgement and our respect. These children
need our love.

NH hotel "Voltaire" in Potsdam. The Princess of
Hohenzollern was the initiator and patroness of the event.
The initiative is aimed to positively influence the employment
of youths with the help of the example effect from socialites
for the education.
Today so many teenagers don’t know, what kind of job
they should take in future. Often they stand in front of many
barricades. They have discontinued schooling and don’t
see many perspectives. This day Princess Maja was discussing
the theme: “E-learning – Ways out of education
misery” with VIP’s like:

- Dolly Dollar (actress)
- Jessica Witte-Winter (moderator)
- Doreen Jacobi (actress, software business woman)

VIP’s spoke about their schooling and try to give the
teenagers important indications for the start into the professional

A donation fond supporting the association “Jobs for
Middle-Germany” is a part of this initiative. The association
is promoting teenager, assisting the search of apprenticeship
training positions, motivating and helping teenagers in personal-sessions
to find out their strengths and what kind of job they can

Cosmetics for grown-up and tiny princesses!
“Every woman can look like a princess”, and with
this thought Princess Maja of Hohenzollern presented her first
own cosmetic series “Princess of Hohenzollern” to
fulfil a long cherished wish of her heart. This series consists
of high-quality products with valuable ingredients and of decorative
cosmetics.
Maja has even used real pearls for the cosmetic for the perfect
“Princess-Feeling”. This care series is developed
with modern and newest knowledge, cares the skin with moisturiser,

of swimming at the pool of the hotel. She showed a great performance
for a 10 weeks old girl dog! At the end of this wellness days

Maja was a special guest at 57th awards of the oldest German
media awards. It was presented in Munich this time. Since 48
years the media house Burda honours the people doing impressive
things with the golden fawn “Bambi”. Bill Clinton,
Caterina Valente, Karl Lagerfeld and Mariah Carey and others
were among the prize-winners in this year. Princess Maja got
on a dress of “Tulpendesign”. She was very glad
about the Bambi for the German Army, the THW and the IDEKO.
They are honoured for the help in the fight against the Tsunami

Princess Maja visit the most spectacular
festival of Moscow 
Princess Maja and approximately 1000 international guests, for
example Prince and Princess Dadiani, designer Slava Zaitsev,
star guest Gloria Gaynor, Vladimir Putin was celebrating a wonderful
party in Moscow to pay tribute to the birthday of the biggest
Russian construction company and owner of the biggest luxury
shopping mall of the world. She also visited an orphanage in
Moscow in this trip.
The invitation of the world famous star sculptor and artist
Zurab Tsereteli to visit his private studio was a great honour
for Princess Maja. She watched the unique and famous performances
of the great masters there, such as „ The tear“
for Ground Zero in NY, „ The holy Georgi“ in front
of the UNO building in NY, „Princess Diana“, „Czar
Peter the Great“ and many others in real. The invitation
of Zurab Tsereteli to see his castle was the dot in the i for
this meeting.  A
Georgian banquet in the wonderful hall took place in honour
of Princess Maja. She is a great admirer of Zurab Tsereteli
and was incredibly impressed by the abundance and expression
power of his performances. After the meeting she was impressed
by the personality and vitality of this 71 years old genius.
It was the starting point of a wonderful friendship.
The Princess also revisited an orphanage in Moscow in her trip.
Also in December 2004 she travelled to Moscow. At that time
she got the decoration “Patron of the century”,
the highest Russian decoration for worldwide charity engagement.

richness of the culture and the “golden hearts”

this initiative partly organized by the Princess. Aim of this
initiative is to influence the engagements of teenager in the
right way with the help of the positive examples of VIP’s.

should be pushed into the public and the attention should be
directed towards in convenience with “Genius is cool!

Princess repeats the visit to orphans
in Thailand
 After
the help of Princess Maja at January 2005 with goods and therapists
for people and children suffered by the Tsunami disaster in
Phuket, she visited the formerly crisis region again, watched
the reconstruction and, of course, met the Thai children. She
takes care of the kids since a long time. Visits of „School
for life“ in Phuket and in Chiang Mai were additional
parts of the program. Princess Maja was also there at last year
in Oct./ Nov. 2004 and aids this project for many years. She
has reserved a special place in her heart for children and there
is a contact with phone and e-mail between her and the kids.
The Princess is happy about the big improvements of these children
and that their life will become better and better. The learning
results of kids are really presentable.
On her last visit last year, the idea for the hear book “Fairy
tales for princes and princesses” struck in her mind.
Princess Maja personally reads fairy tales. A part of the proceedings
by sale of the fairy tales CD is donated for “School for
Life” – orphans in Thailand.

donations for the children cancer clinic in Hamburg
The Princess was a honourable guest at this annual gala by the
leading business magazine “Cash”. The editor Dr.
Dieter Jansen has invited approximately 450 guests from business
and politic to the beautiful rooms of old fish halls at Hamburg
harbour with. The “Man of the Year” was given in
these festive rooms.
A donation sum of more than 20.000 EURO for the children cancer
clinic in Hamburg Eppendorf, supported by the Princess since
a long time, was the highlight at this evening. Babies and very
young children with cancer have to attend this clinic. The Princess
handed over the cheque to the representatives of this child
clinic. This money will be used for the construction of the
new research centre.

Princess Maja
rescues cat baby from death
 After
a visit of the white hill village Zahara de la Sierra in Andalusia/
Spain Princess Maja found a half starved kitten at a crossroad.
The Princess stopped her car at once and cared for this little
creature. By information of the neighbours the mother left
the kitten and nobody cared for it. The little kitten was
just 4 weeks old and was completely underfed. Her situation
was miserable and dangerous. Her weight was just 350 grams
and could suit in a coffee cup.
The Princess took the animal in her protection to home. Next
day she took it to animal doctor. He confirmed that the kitten
would not have survived more than 2 days, if the Princess
had not rescued it.
The little kitten is black and has big green eyes. She got
the name “Pauline” and will be called “Pauli”. |

innovative and trendy wedding fair “Modatex” in

In the evening, after the fair, a great gala was organised

breast cancer healthy in Marbella
Princess Maja stood up for the struggle against breast cancer,
together with the hostess of this gala, Bea Princess of Auersberg,

On October the 31st 2003 Maja had already organized the ”First

get healthy care barely, if this disease will stay un-researched
completely. Approximately 150 people are involved worldwide.

e. V.”. I wish, we can find a medical man, he takes
care of this children and searches for medical treatments.
Doctors should not forget, they are humanists at first line”,
the Princess said engaged.
Lately the Princess was complied a wish of heart for these
ill children. This wish was to meet a really princess before
they die.

Maja visited the beautiful palace by the hills near Elbe.

at “B.trifft” of this interesting talk and was
moderated by the well-known talk show lady Bettina Böttinger.
Princess Maja, the successful shoe producer Dr. Deichmann,
the former lottery millionaire Helmut Schäfer and Jutta
Sundermann discussed this exiting theme controversy.

Princess fulfilled the last wish of
dangerously ill children, “Schattenkinder e. V.”
As a patron of the 1st benefit gala for the association “Schattenkinder
e. V.” Löhne, Princess met the children Shpresa,
Agnes, Rania and Janine in the hill hotel Porta Westfalica.
The children have a rarely gene defect with the name “Hallermann-Streiff”-
Syndrome and don’t have a long life expectancy. Self-evidently
the Princess was fulfilled a wish of these terminally ill children.
The wish was to meet a real princess before they die.
Maja was deep impressed about the life will and the courage
of these children.

personalities and I am deeply impressed how they manage their

 The
“Hallermann-Streiff”- Syndrome is a rare gene-defect.
Different deformities of skull and face with scanty hair, deviation
of the eyes, dentistry defects, non generative changes of the
skin, especially in scalp and nose region, a short expansion
of head with a highly accentuation forehead and anti mongoloid
position of the eyelid axis, thin lips, a small under evolved
jaw and a thin, pressed and pointed nose, tight nostril (like
a bird) are characteristic marks of this diseases.
A very big request of the involved children and the association
“Schattenkinder e. V.”, which care 60 families,
is make contacts between the involved people worldwide. It
is a big help for the children to meet someone “who
looks like himself” and with the same destiny. It is
the feeling for not being alone with this disease and they
are not a lonely one to set out. So it is very important to
make contacts between involved persons, if they can make pressure
with the power of many people on medicine and research. This
disease is rarely researched. The parents are running from
doctor to doctor and no one can help them, if nobody knows
enough about this disease. The pharmacy industry does not
research for this disease, as it is not lucrative enough and
the quantity of involved people is small.

Wiener Ball Night with Karlheinz Böhm
and Horst Köhler
 On
this occasion of the Karlheinz Böhm foundation’s
“Menschen für Menschen” the important life
work from Karlheinz Böhm and his engagements for Africa
were appreciated in the festive rooms of the Hotel “Ritz
Charlton” in Berlin.
This meeting with Karlheinz Böhm were very significant
for Princess Maja. When the Princess was 13 years young, she
watched Karlheinz Böhm on TV and was very impressed with
his help for Africa, so she gave her whole pocket-money and
wrote Karlheinz Böhm a letter. As he personally answered
the letter, Princess Maja was very happy and encouraged too
for charity engagement.
Today the Princess is an engaged Charity Lady herself with the
worldwide support of projects and suffering children. |

Press conference: Initiative for education
“Genius is cool! – VIP’s for education”
in Sanssoucis Palace
On the occasion of the press conference in Sanccousis Palace,
in former times was Palace of Hohenzollern, together with the
“Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk”, Princess of Hohenzollern
presented the commonly promoted Initiative for education “Genius
is cool! – VIP’s for education”.
The alarming results of Pisa – Study were the motive behind
the idea for establishing this initiative. Aim of this initiative
is to positively influence the engagement of teenager with the
help of VIP’s. Mrs. Dr. Brückner, leader of the “Deutsches
Kinderhilfswerk”, Michael Kruse, DKHW, the prominent actress
Christiane Lachnith and the Princess of Hohenzollern have informed
about their project and answered the interested questions from
numerous media representatives. The first arrangement has happened
at 15.04.05, 2:00 PM at Krongut Bornstedt. |

“Kiss me little Princess” of Princess Maja
“Highness to puzzle please“
The Princess of Hohenzollern presented her first own puzzle
game in the majestic rooms of hotel Grunewald Palace in Berlin!
The nice puzzle motif shows a little princess. She is kissing
a frog during other frogs are waiting in front of her in a long
line. “Kiss me little princess” is the appropriate
name of this puzzle.
The motif is not only very sweet, Princess Maja has especially
created and drawn the little princess herself! The creative
Princess is painting and drawing since her childhood. Because
the little princess is very popular, the puzzle has now appeared
by the world leader in toys, the company Ravensburger.
“I
like puzzles very much, when I was a child I often played puzzles
with my parents. A puzzle is units generations and everybody
on the world can play it. It’s a traditional game and
up to date too. It’s a game for the whole family. It’s
especially wonderful for me.” (quotation Princess Maja)
As the tsunami disaster has struck out in Thailand, Princess
Maja travelled to Phuket at once to help the traumatised children.
Besides she has helped for the reconstruction of a school
for 500 children in Kaolak. Princess also brought a lot of
her puzzles also, which Ravensburger helpfully donated. So
the children can somewhat forget their bad experiences and
they also enjoyed the puzzles. The therapists on the locality
were happy about this little therapeutic help and were glad,
that the children played with them.

Princess Maja visits children cancer
centre in Hamburg
Princess Maja again visited the children cancer centre in Hamburg.
These children are very dear to the princess’s heart.
So she tried to cheer them up and encourage the little patients
who stand up for the big pain in their young life. The children
were happy every time about the visit of the Princess and they
like to play with her. Of course Maja have little surprise even
to amuse the brave children and their difficult stay.
The Princess has informed herself about the current situation
of the children and spoken with the doctors and their parents
too. Such a disease is a burden for the whole family and the
parents. In part they give up their jobs and have arrived to
escort their children during the long time of therapies. This
clinic is unique in Germany and treats very small children too.
Some children born with a tumour or get leukaemia as baby.
They will supply medical with the most modern methods and take
care of them with love in the clinic. The clinic rooms are made
especially for children, so the little children feel well in
their hard time. |

Princess is patroning “Blauer
Ball” for the benefit of the children cancer centre
Princess Maja assumed the protectorate for the event “Blauer
Ball” in Hamburg this year. The yearly ball was finds
itself in the wonderful rooms in the hotel Atlantik. The proceedings
of this event were for the children cancer centre in Hamburg.
In this clinic especially small children will be treated,
who were born with cancer tumours or with early leukaemia
and get long time therapies.
The children’s are very dear to the princess’s
heart and she often visits the children cancer centre in Hamburg.
Therefore Princess Maja appealed in her speech to the ball
guests for generous donations and together with the famous
artist Bruno Bruni she sold numerous tickets in a speed with
record time! The guests in Hamburg from politics and business
were very generous. As highlight of this wonderful and successful
ball, the Princess has moderated the raffle with prizes.

“Princess on tour”, Fairy
tale – reading tour for children with Princess Maja 
There were many requests for reading after the publication of
her audio book CD “Märchen für kleine Prinzen
und Prinzessinen”, (available all over Germany in “Makromarkt”
for sale). So Princess Maja has decided a little reading tour
through some cities. The children were enthusiastic all over
of these fairy tales and especially for the meeting with a real
princess. Maja loves these fairy tales readings for children
very much.
“It's so sweet to see, how the kids charmingly listen.
During the readings they came crawling near me often after that
they sit down on my lap at last .It was very exciting to see
some 150 kids by my reading! At the end of a reading, mostly
after a time of 30-40 minutes, the kids asked me many things,
for example where is my coach, where is my horse and many other
things. It's really charming!”
Of course Maja was granted the run for autographs by her
little fans gladly and with much patience. “The kids ask
for “photograph cards even!” the Princess tells
and find the notion is prove right more true and the kids have
right with this name! |

Berlinale Will Smith event
The Princess of Hohenzollern was invited to the Will Smith film
party on the occasion of the “Berlinale”. Many representations
of film scene and show business had a meeting in the noble club
“Felix” in the “Adlon” Hotel in Berlin,
and celebrated together with star guest Will Smith. Maja attended
the event with legendary film producer Arthur Brauner. |

Maja and Sir Bob Geldof
Princess Maja was guest on the yearly event of the international
film scene together with the legend of music and the initiator
of “Live Aid”, Sir Bob Geldof. The two are good
friends since many years. Bob Geldof was also the guest of Majas
“Venetian Mask Ball” and was a member in the committee
for her breast cancer initiative. Princess Maja sat at the honorary
table next to Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon and talked with
great interest with her table neighbours and ladies. The Princess
met many friends and acquaintances such as Klaus Meine from
the “Scorpions”.
Many other stars were also present to support this gala, such
as Christopher Lee from “Lord of the rings”, Catherine
Deneuve and many others.
The Princess was also the guest at this event in previous years,
where she met a lot of stars like Dustin Hoffman, George Clooney,
Roger Moore, Farah Fawcett and many others. |

The famous donation box of “Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk”

Kinderhilfswerk” is supporting numerous projects for children
with these donations.
Princess Maja personally presented this virtual donation box
for the beneficial cause. Now she hopes to gather more money
for children projects.

ADAC Ball
Together with Michel Clydman and Willi Weber, Princess Maja
appeared at the ADAC ball. It is one of the biggest balls in
Germany with almost 2000 guests and it does happen already since
30 years. Maja leaved the ball quick as lightning and ran away
from the “durable rain” after the release of the
sprinkling system. It was a mistake. They took this incident
with sense of humour like all other guests. |
